Nikki Bufalino truly took the time to educate both me and my wife on the different aspects of buying a home. We really didn’t know what we wanted at the beginning (land and then build, lots of land and smaller house farther away, a bigger house but closer to work). To be quite honest, we didn’t even know which state we wanted to live in as we were trying to build a life with balancing work commitments, on the hunt for a quality school, as well as keeping taxes in mind. As you can see, we were not easy clients. We were out of state but we knew we wanted to work with Nikki as she had so much knowledge and patience with us. She worked tirelessly with us over the phone, email, and very long days that would be jammed in on my days off over a two year period. My wife jokes that she stopped keeping track after entering 50 addresses in her spreadsheet. Nikki’s vast knowledge of the market and the industry truly made this experience gratifying. We would also start to see different agents and how their brokerages worked. We are so thankful for Crye-Leike and the honesty of the company. Not only were we elated when we found THE house; looking back we realized how Nikki prepared; truly researching houses, inspectors ready to go for several others houses we were considering. With Zillow, it’s easy to look back at previous houses we were considering and be thankful we didn’t opt for those properties. We can see them sit on the market, we can see the price reduce and we can start to see the house through a realtor’s point of view. My wife would tell you that Nikki taking the time and talking her through the different aspects and the steps was so incredibly comforting for her.
